One more paper left until I could enjoy Summer without feeling guilty! Yeay! I love British Summer, its sunny, warm, crispy and NOT humid. So you don’t sweat and you would just feel gorgeous all day long! I only have one drawback from all this summer fun. My skin have gone quite fair after being bleached by cold wind in Winter and now has threatened to go back to its original parlour. Nooooooooooo! I see people here getting tanned, with golden hue and pink flush. My ‘tan’ would just be dull brown. With no light reflecting bronze or pink or those pretty freckles across the nose. Nice.
Could I please keep my winter skin, thanks.
So, its time to get those light-reflecting, illuminating, pearl-extract, satin effect, cashmere feel, true color, enhancing tinted moisturizer. Plus, apparently if you don’t slab on SPF on your face, the sun ray will burn cells underneath your skin, and will turn to dark spots when you grow older!
I have noticed friends who wear really nice, natural make up and have gone curious to know how to wear it. I only ever know moisturizer, foundation, powder, eyeliner, mascara, blusherand lippies. Hehe, as if that is not enough,I feel the need to discover what is a loose powder and what does one do with it. And skin highlighter? What is touche eclat? And then discover how people get that awesome sleek dewy look yet it doesn’t make their cheeks turn into car headlights! Oh yes, and what to do with my green eyeshadow. And if I should even touch them.
I wish I had taken time during Easter to enjoy spring flowers in between studying
Now the flowers are all gone and only green leaves are in their place. Although the other day, mother nature dropped a lil bundle of joy, literally from the sky! A baby bird appeared from nowhere and chirped and cried for its mother from under my window. It couldn’t fly and would only flap its wing and fall after few steps! It’s adorable! I mean, the bird of course. Not the condition its in.
I could never handle shocks and am such a loser at suspense, that I couldn’t even save the bird in fear it will flap its wings in SUDDEN movement. So I dragged my brother instead.
He turned out to be a bird’s champion. The bird cuddled up to him when he came and scooped the baby bird lovingly against his chest. They look so cute together! Will get the picture from muhsin when I have the chance.
In 10 days, I will be leaving London and go to Istanbul for 2 months!
